Every pouf was once a rug and is made out of pieces of fabric that are cut out of old and new rugs and recycled into a pouf. Go and check out our ‘THE MAKING OF’ stories on our instagram highlights to see how our beautiful poufs are created.

Azilal poufs and thus rugs originate from the high Atlas Mountains and are handwoven by Berber Amazigh tribe women. Each pouf has its unique design and story. Their wool tends to be finer, they are simplistic and usually have a geometric design. The design of an Azilal pouf is highly distinctive and typically features vibrant colours. The poufs are made of 100% lambswool from sheep that live in the Azilal area of the Atlas Mountains. The wool fabric is loosely woven with knots made every third row, which makes them lighter and more flexible.
